Motivation – Key to Success
Everybody is different and that goes for the workplace more often that it is accepted. Imagine getting several people from all walks of life, different backgrounds, social inclinations, religions and many other differences that would be too many to discuss and get them to work as a team, now that’s a miracle of motivation. Motivation is the drive to pursue the goals of the group over ones own desires and what better motivation is the fact that everybody in the office is after all after, their salaries. The only problem is that as the leader of a group you will have to do some hard decisions whether people get more than others or better yet, you could balance out the imbalance with some other form of motivation. Make everybody understand the aim of the group and make success a group effort while giving praise accordingly. However small part a person may play it still is a group effort and like a fan without all the blades, it doesn’t give much air and falls down crumbling into nothing.
